As the full moon in Gemini rises in opposition to the Sun in Sagittarius, we gather to explore the delicate relationship between perception and truth, between the stories we tell, and the realities that exist beyond them.
Gemini seeks to understand through observation, details, and the exchange of ideas, while Sagittarius often searches for a greater truth beyond the details - one that asks “but, why?” And connects the dots to a wider perspective.
We can see the polarity of these archetypes as somewhat complimentary, and being mutable signs, they both tend to resist rigid structures, and share a high need for personal freedom.
Sitting between these two energies, we are invited to consider the relationship between what we know, what we believe and what we have yet to understand.
We can recognise, through mutability and a change in perspective; that there may be more to the story, that our beliefs may not always be our own, that “truth” does not remain what it once was to us.
We can change our minds, hold contradictions, and listen to and value another person’s perspective without abandoning our own. We can hold multiple truths at once. We can see the many reflections of the kaleidoscope, if we adjust our vision slightly.
Perhaps we can find liberation in recognising that our own understanding is never quite complete.
As we move deeper into the darker months, this feels like a beautiful opportunity to turn our attention inward and examine the stories we may have been carrying for too long.

Perhaps perspective is not always about seeing something differently, but about recognising how much more there is to see.
